Thoughtfully composed:

Zaha Hadid describes to The Guardian [time-lapse vid] the design philosophy of the Bach Chamber Music Hall she created for this week’s Manchester International Festival.

The intimate “hall” – a ribbon of translucent fabric supported by a steel frame holding acoustic panels – is installed temporarily in the Manchester Art Gallery’s black-box space.

Fantastic images, including the one posted above, accompany this Fast Company story.

Goethe described architecture as “frozen music.” Indeed.
